BSI has launched its much anticipated new website dedicated to the Kitemark quality symbol: Kitemark.com.
"To have a Kitemark is no mean achievement and consumers know that," says broadcaster Quentin Willson, who works with BSI to promote quality and safety. "While it is a well-known and trusted symbol around the home, it also appears on a wider range of products and services - from fire extinguishers and glass to window installers or car accident repair shops."
The site allows consumers, specifiers and businesses to check easily and quickly which products and services carry a Kitemark. There is also a directory so that people can find out who manufactures or provides Kitemark-certified goods and services. The site will make it easier to check which products and services have met rigorous quality processes and production criteria showing that the product does what it claims and is safe.
Kitemark.com makes this information much more accessible to consumers, so they can make more informed decisions about what they buy and from where.

Question: We are under increasing pressure to comply with a growing number of regulations and to maintain growth - while under greater scrutiny than ever before. How can this be good for business?
We are all in the risk management business. In the current climate, as consumers we are encouraged to claim compensation or sue for damages for almost any negative incident we encounter.
